Suzie is a London based painter originally from Stroud. She studied media and textiles in Stroud before moving to London to study Journalism, going on to become a TV Producer and later a trade union official for the film and TV union.

She began painting professionally in 2020. Her work explores themes including housing, nature, health and popular culture.

She is inspired by the Fauvist Movement whose artists favoured undisguised brushstrokes and high-keyed, bold colours directly from the tube.
